Patisserie Holdings PLC investors update – 21 April 2021

I am writing to you from the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) based in London. The SFO is a specialist public authority that investigates and prosecutes the most serious or complex fraud, bribery and corruption cases.

As you may be aware, we are currently investigating potential fraud offences involving Patisserie Holdings PLC (“PHp”) and associated entities and individuals.

Throughout the course of the investigation the SFO has identified a number of investors who have suffered a loss of share capital due to the collapse of PHp. The reason we are contacting you is because we have identified you as a potential investor in PHp share capital.

How you can assist

To allow us to fully investigate the fraud allegations and assess what impact, if any, the collapse of PHp investments has had on you and other investors, we need your help and kindly request you to do the following;

  • Please visit the SFO website at the below address to complete a questionnaire in relation to your investment, giving as much detail as you can; https://www.sfo.gov.uk/cases/patisserie-holdings-plc/
  • Retain and keep safe any paperwork, including letters and emails you have in relation to your investment.

If you have any queries at all or require assistance to complete the questionnaire please contact the SFO at the following email address:  [email protected]

What we will do

Completing and submitting the questionnaire will allow us to assess the information you and other investors provide. This will help us establish a more detailed and comprehensive understanding of what has happened and help progress the investigation.

We may contact you directly if we need to clarify any of the information you have given or to ask any further questions. If you do not wish to be contacted, please indicate this within the questionnaire.

Further information and Support

Investigations of this complexity can take years to investigate fully, however, we will endeavour to provide updates on our website whenever possible and ask you to keep us informed if your contact details change at all.

Included with this letter is an information pack detailing organisations who can offer support to victims of crime and organisations who can offer advice on financial matters. To find out more about the SFO you may wish to visit our website at www.sfo.gov.uk.  The website also contains some general information for victims of financial crime. We appreciate that this information may have come as a shock to you and we are sorry that you may have been a victim of fraudulent activity. Please be assured that the SFO is taking all reasonable steps to fully investigate this case and we thank you for your assistance with our investigation.
