The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) conducted a criminal investigation into the suspected payment of bribes to win contracts within the UK construction sector.

On 17 August 2021, the SFO announced charges of bribery and money laundering brought against five individuals in connection with this investigation.

Two former senior executives, Robb Simms-Davies and Nigel Wilson, were charged with four counts of bribery and two counts of money laundering for suspected offences between 2014 and 2016. Trevor Wright and Roger Dewhirst were charged with receiving the suspected bribes. Dawn Dewhirst was charged with two counts of money laundering.

All individuals made their first appearance at Southwark Crown Court on Tuesday 17 August 2021.

The case is listed for trial on 26 September 2022 at Southwark Crown Court.
