SFO yn gwneud cais am fil gwirfoddol o dditiad

19 Mehefin, 2014 | Case Updates

Ar 24 Ionawr 2013, cyhuddodd y SFO Eric Evans, Alan Whiteley, Frances Bodman, Richard Walters, Leighton Humphreys a Stephen Davies QC o gynllwynio i dwyllo mewn perthynas â gwerthiant pedwar safle mwyngloddio agored yn Ne Cymru.

Yn dilyn ceisiadau gan bump o’r diffynyddion, gwrthododd Meistr Ustus Hickinbottom y cyhuddiad o gynllwynio i dwyllo ar 18 Chwefror 2014.

Yn dilyn ystyried y dyfarniad yn ofalus, cyflwynodd y SFO gais i’r Uchel Lys am fil gwirfoddol o dditiad ar 28 Ebrill 2014. Mae cais am fil gwirfoddol o dditiad yn weithdrefn anarferol sydd, os ceir caniatâd yr Uchel Lys, yn galluogi’r SFO i ailgyflwyno achosion troseddol yn erbyn yr unigolion, er gwaethaf dyfarniad blaenorol Llys y Goron.

Mae barnwr bellach wedi ei benodi i wrando ar y cais maes o law.

Am ragor o wybodaeth ar yr achos ewch yma.
