Q. What if I am not a victim but wish to provide information on a serious or complex fraud or corruption in my place of work?

You may have information regarding a serious or complex fraud in your workplace, of which you are not a victim. This is commonly called 'whistleblowing' and your information could be very valuable to us.

Please contact our SFO Confidential reporting line on 0207 7239 7388 or report it, in complete confidence at:  https://report.sfo.gov.uk/sfo-confidential---provide-information-in-confidence.aspx with the details of what you have witnessed.

Q. Are there other sources of information that might help me?

This is a resource for all victims of crime. It explains each stage of the process that any victim of crime will encounter:

  • From the time when a crime is reported
  • Through to the investigation and prosecution
  • Court processes
  • Sentencing

The site is generic to the majority of crimes investigated by the Police and prosecuted by the Crown Prosecution Service, so not all of the information will be relevant to serious or complex fraud and Serious Fraud Office cases.
