Has a relative or friend also been affected by the same fraud as you? Or do you know of someone who is a victim of a serious and complex fraud or corruption who doesn't know where to go for help?
It is important that we know of the other victims involved because:
- It may mean the fraud is more serious or complex, which will make it more likely to fall within our remit
- Your combined financial losses may be over £1 million, but separately they may be under that threshold
- We may need more evidence or witnesses
- To keep all victims updated on progress of our case if we take it on for investigation
- If we are able to recover assets from the criminals, they may be eligible for compensation
- We cannot otherwise properly consider or support
