Former directors Roger Eden and Geoffrey Brailey jailed

Roger Eden and Geoffrey Brailey - former directors of Corporate Services Group Plc - were sentenced today at Croydon Crown Court for accounting irregularities designed to overstate profits for 1997 and 1998.

Summary

Following the unanimous guilty verdicts returned by the jury yesterday, HHJ Macrae passed sentence today. Geoffrey Ian Brailey (51), and Roger Charles Eden, (47), were each sentenced to 3 years 9 months' imprisonment on each of the two counts on the indictment, to run concurrently. They were both disqualified from acting as company directors for 8 years.
